A non-profit, volunteer organization providing camping experiences and much more for children with cancer and their families.

Camp Quality was a very important part of Brendan's life. He and his sister, Megan, were able to attend the 1 week summer camp for 3 years from 2000 - 2002. While he was away at camp, Brendan was able to do such things as ride an elephant, make arts and crafts. become an expert in archery, build and launch a model rocket, attend dances, and ride in a hot air balloon, police car and yacht. Most importantly, he was allowed to be a child again and leave the worries and fear of cancer behind. He will be remembered for all the practical jokes that he played on his companions and volunteers. This organization, and the many friends we have made because of it, touched Brendan's and our lives immensely.

With a Dose of Smile Therapy. . .

Camp Quality is a summer camping experience and year-round support program for children with cancer. Many difficult physical and emotional challenges face a child, and their family, when battling cancer. We have developed at our summer camps an important type of “therapy” . . . we like to call it Smile Therapy! With a laugh in their heart and a smile on their face, Camp Q. Kids find themselves capable of more than they dreamed possible.

We Laugh, Love, Lift-up . . .

Camp Quality has built a reputation with our personalized care. Every camper is paired with a companion who is dedicated completely to his or her care. Companions are the life-blood of Camp Q; they are fun to be with, adventuresome, great listeners and are always sharing their love for life. Their primary responsibility is to make sure their camper has the most enjoyable, safe, relaxing and restoring experience possible. This relationship creates a beautiful bond that continues long after camp is over, and oftentimes for years to come.
